Shri Yantra Lotus Macrame
The Sri Yantra ( or Shri Yantra) is an ancient mystical geometry that is said to have been mentioned in the age-old texts like Svetashvatara Upanishad, Vedas and other ancient texts. It is formed by nine interlocking triangles that emanate from the centre point, called Bindu. It is a mystical diagram that is said to represent the flow of energy in the universe. In Sanskrit, the word 'Sri' means 'auspicious' or 'holy', while 'yantra' means 'instrument for releasing from bondage.' As a sacred tool, a SriYantra is used for meditation and prayers.
