Blue peruvian Opal with sea glass

💙 From the mountains of Peru to the wild shores of Darwin…

Two little treasures from opposite sides of the world, brought together in one unique creation. 🥰

This beautiful Peruvian Blue Opal caught my eye with its unusual patterns and soft blue-grey tones. There’s so much going on within this stone, almost like a little landscape painted by nature.

I’ve paired it with a small piece of sea glass collected along the wild shores of Darwin, shaped and softened by years of tumbling in the ocean.

I love bringing together stones and little treasures that have travelled such different journeys.

The setting was created using my signature soft soldering technique, with flowing lines, textured metalwork and tiny silver droplets that follow the natural shape of the stones.

And I particularly love how the sea glass catches the light when held up against the sky. 💙

A little piece of the earth, a little piece of the ocean, and a whole lot of love poured into creating it. 🌊✨

The Peruvian blue opal has soft relaxing energies. Legend says that it takes the tension out of communication and helps ideas flow freely. It softens the impact of stress from the outside world and can help one to release the trauma of old wounds. It facilitates facing the future with a tranquil healing nature.

This stone is reported to be good for quieting the mind and as an aid to sleep.
