What makes pink amethyst so very special – aside from its beautiful splendour – is that it’s a fairly recent discovery in the world of crystals and gemstones. It was discovered very recently in Patagonia, Argentina, and draws its pink colouring from the inclusions of Hematite within the structure of its crystal.

Pink Amethyst Geode.  Pink amethyst, also known as Rose de France amethyst or lavender amethyst, is a variety of amethyst that displays a delicate pink or lavender hue. It is a member of the quartz family and gets its color from trace amounts of iron and aluminum impurities within the crystal structure.

Pink Amethyst is primarily a crystal of love and devotion. It carries a soft feminine energy of compassion and peace, tenderness and healing, nourishment and comfort.
